Although I was born in New York, I've lived in Florida since I was less than a year old. In my entire life, I can only remember seeing seven flakes of snow. It was Pittsburgh snow; I visited the University of Pittsburgh for an interview in February 1997.
Yes, exactly seven flakes. I counted them. Oh how I loved those seven flakes of snow. Down here in hot 'n' humid southern Florida, I have little hope of adding to my flake count. If I want snow, I have to make my own. The real thing isn't exactly practical in 80-degree weather, so I substituted synthetic white fur for this snowball monster. He's hand-sewn, and at about 5 inches tall, he's a perfect double-handful for throwing at your little brother. ------ FAQ // store |
