Doom Jr. Baby Hurricane Plush

Here on Florida's Gulf Coast, we're used to a minimum of two or three major hurricane scares a year. I've been through more storms than I can name, and I've gotten used to seeing that little red swirly symbol pop up on the weather maps during the local news.

This plushie, handsewn from red fleece, is based on that traditional meteorological hurricane symbol. Despite his name, though, Doom Jr. is quite harmless. At four inches high and four and a half inches across, he's incapable of uprooting trees, flooding the neighborhood, or even raising the roof. He's content to sit around and look tough (and he's not even very good at that, thanks to his cute little face).
